The Blanes – Costa Brava International Film Festival 2025 will celebrate its second edition from May 17 to May 24, 2025, in the city of Blanes, Girona.

Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2024, the event is becoming a key date for independent and auteur cinema, featuring a diverse program of fiction, documentary, and animation, in both short and feature film formats.

This international festival brings together the best of independent cinema, known for its diverse programming and a strong commitment to innovation in the visual arts.

The festival includes several competitive sections:
• Official Short Film Section
• Official Feature Film Section
• Cultural Section / Guest Country, which in 2025 will spotlight France

Blanes will once again become a great celebration of cinema, with parallel activities such as:
• 1st Music & Film Collector’s Fair
• Star Wars Catalunya
• Exhibition of the ‘Ecto-1’ vehicle from the movie Ghostbusters
